Говард Эверетт Смит (анг. Howard Everett Smith; 1885-1970) — американский художник, иллюстратор, гравёр; учился в Школе искусств Бостонского музея (School of Art of the Boston Museum), в Лиге студентов-художников и у Говарда Пайла в Уилмингтоне; в период между 1905 и 1915 годами печатался в "Харперз мансли магэзин" (Harper’s Monthly Magazine), "Харперз уикли магэзин" (Harper’s Weekly Magazine) и в "Скрибнерзе" (Scribner's Magazine); с 1911 по 1914 год изучал искусство импрессионизма в Европе; в 1914 году начал преподавать в Школе дизайна в Род-Айленде (Rhode Island School of Design); в 1938 году переехал в Калифорнию, где много лет работал в совете директоров Ассоциации художников Кармеля (Carmel Art Association); участник множества выставок и наград.

Howard Everett Smith (1885-1970) — American artist, illustrator, and printmaker; studied at the School of Art of the Boston Museum, the Art Students League, and with Howard Pyle in Wilmington; between 1905 and 1915 he published in Harper's Monthly Magazine, Harper's Weekly Magazine, and Scribner's Magazine; from 1911 to 1914 he studied impressionist art in Europe; in 1914 he began teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design; in 1938 he moved to California, where he served for many years on the board of directors of the Carmel Art Association and participated in numerous exhibitions and awards.
